Our Story

It started at a dining table scattered with admit cards and worried conversations.

Two parents. One daughter. A NEET result that was good — just not good enough for AIIMS. And a counselling process that nearly cost her the best seat available to her rank.

Hyderabad. Where it all started.

Our story began not in a boardroom, but at a dining table scattered with admit cards, documents, and worried late‑night conversations. It began as two anxious parents trying to help their daughter find her place in the world.

When our daughter appeared for NEET, she performed respectably, but not quite enough for the very top few institutes like AIIMS or JIPMER. Very quickly, we realized that ranks were only the beginning; the real challenge was navigating a long, complex counselling process that would ultimately shape her career and her life. Like most families, we wanted to make sure that a once‑in‑a‑lifetime decision did not go wrong.

"We did what any committed parents would do — spoke to friends, searched endlessly online, and finally engaged not one, but two professional counsellors, assuming this would make the journey simple and 'fail‑safe'. It did not."

We struggled with the registration process, missed crucial details in documentation, and ended up with a sub‑optimal priority list that cost her a seat in the first round.

In the second round, we approached a family member with deep expertise in data and AI to help us bring structure and strategy to the chaos. Using a rigorous framework, we reworked her preferences to maximize the probability of securing the best possible college for her rank — and she eventually received an offer from one of the top 50 medical colleges in India.

Even then, the stress did not end: there were still bonds to understand and notarize, documents to chase, and endless formalities that no one really explained.

What hurt most was not the hard work — it was the feeling of walking this path alone. We had imagined counsellors who would stand beside us from day one, anticipate pitfalls, and offer clear, personalized guidance; instead, we were left sifting through generic WhatsApp messages and impersonal PDFs that rarely answered the questions that kept us up at night.

We realized that what families truly need is not more information, but the right information, delivered at the right time, with genuine care.

As we spoke to other parents across cities and states, one thing became clear: our story was not unique. Families in India and abroad were experiencing the same confusion, the same anxiety, and the same sense that a child's future was too important to be left to chance. College admissions — whether for JEE/NEET in India, engineering in Europe, or undergraduate programs in the US — were becoming more complex every year, but the support system had not kept pace.

"Ivy League Admissions was born from this gap, and from a simple promise: no student or parent should have to walk this journey alone."
